Thrifty

Let me tell you, thrift shopping is not my preferred type of shopping. 

I do LOVE the prices, but the patience & endurance it takes to even find something of value... let's just say, I don't LOVE it. 

Well, a trip to Iowa City this summer proved to be my first successful thrift shopping experience! I had been on the lookout for a new bookshelf for awhile & I found this for $4!! I sanded & it painted it white.

Also this antique map of China (from 1902)!

... painted a metal tray with chalkboard paint!

It's amazing how often I need to just tell my soul to Bless the Lord.

 Thanks Iowa City! You make me want to be more thrifty!
