Apple Dumplings

These, my friends, have become a fall favorite for sure!
It all started with these girls a couple weeks ago!
**Shout out to Megan & her Mom for the recipe!!
And so we begin...
Take the skin off of 2 apples.  Cut each apple into 8 slices.
Cook the apples in the microwave for about 3 minutes (or until soft).
Wrap a crescent roll triangle around each apple slice.  Place in a greased 9x13 pan.
Heat the butter, sugar, vanilla & cinnamon.
Pour it on top of the dumplings.
This is where things get a little crazy. Pour mountain dew around the outside of the dumplings (just enough to come half way up the dumplings) and bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Super moist, with a crispy top.  Yummmmm!
They approve!
